Remi Ouvrard, a French daredevil, broke the world altitude record at the end of 2021 when he stood on the top of a hot-air balloon that reached a height of 4016 metres! Dressed in an astronaut suit, the 28-year-old had his father in the basket below, reminding him to relax and breathe slowly because there is less oxygen in the atmosphere the higher up you go. While this might seem like a simple enough stunt, Remi had to train very hard to be able to pull it off. His record-breaking stunt raised a huge sum of money for research and support into rare brain and muscle diseases.
