Paul Lim again proved age is no barrier by causing a major upset at the World Darts Championship. The 65-year-old, who is nicknamed the Singapore Slinger, has played professional darts across ?ve decades and travelled to London at the end of 2020 for his 25th PDC World Championship appearance.
It proved a trip to remember as Lim came from 2-0 down to defeat Luke Humphries 3-2 in the ?rst round.‘One for the old guys!’ he joked afterwards. Lim was unable to repeat that performance in round two against World Matchplay champion Dimitri van den Bergh but returned home holding his head high!
