News Bites Media - Magazine for primary school students

Issue No. 26, November 2021

Hello, everyone!

And welcome to this month’s issue of News Bites.

As always, we hope you enjoyed last month’s issue, where we unearthed some of the most famous historical ?nds from the last century or two. It really is amazing what lies beneath us, and what these discoveries can teach us about our past.

In this month’s issue, we’ve turned to nature in the most hilarious way possible – and we have the guys behind the Comedy in Wildlife Photography Awards to thank. This annual competition is growing more popular every year, and you can see why. From real-life angry birds to a dancing monkey and gossiping raccoons, this side-splitting celebration of Earth’s wildlife is not to be missed.

Check out our top picks on pages 12 and 13 and see which one you think deserved the top prize.

You will also see that this month we are marking the 10th anniversary of one of the world’s most popular video games ever. Yes, Minecraft launched in 2011 and it has gone from strength to strength, block by block. Check out our Top 10 MC facts on page 7.

Don’t forget, News Biters, if you have book reviews, poems, stories or class news you’d like to share with fellow readers around the world, please email them to hello@newsbitesmedia.com or drop us a comment on the website www.newsbitesmedia.com. We would LOVE to hear from you.

See you in December!
