News Bites Media - Magazine for primary school students

ISSUE NO.25, OCTOBER 2021

Hello, News Biters, and welcome to issue #25.

We hope you enjoyed learning about the very important work of the World Wide Fund for Nature last month. Now, more than ever, awareness is so important if we are going to help bring about the change that our planet dearly needs to recover and thrive.

In this month’s issue, we are looking at some of history’s greatest secrets, many of which lay buried beneath us for years, centuries and millenniums. Throughout history, accidental discoveries have led to the most amazing finds. Join us on pages 12 and 13 and you will see what we mean.

World Food Day falls on October 16 so we decided to take a novel (if not a little gross) look at some of the more wacky dishes you can eat around the world. For fun, we’ve compiled a menu of the weirdest dishes we couldfind. You’re lucky we’re just asking you to read about them – imagine if we were asking you to try them!

As we like to remind you every month, if you have book reviews, poems, stories or class news you’d like to share with fellow News Bites readers, you can email them to hello@newsbitesmedia.com or drop us a comment on the website www.newsbitesmedia.com.

Have a great month and see you in November for a real gaming bonanza!
