What would you do if you stumbled across a crab cracking open a coconut with its giant pincers or, even worse, feasting on a rat?
Well, that is something you might see the coconut crab do.
It's the world’s largest anthropod (animals that have a hard outside covering called an exoskeleton, such as insects and spiders).
These fierce creatures measure up to 1 metre in size and can be found on small islands in the tropical Indian and Pacific oceans.
When they cannot find a coconut (or a rat), they will happily hunt smaller crabs for dinner. Gulp!
